Well, I am definitely taking this book slowly. It is very dream inspiring for me. I love the posts you have made so far and the idea of different kinds of drinks as well as having a “new guest booth” is a great idea!
As I have read pages 23-50 I would love to have each of you to create in detail a vision of perfection centered on our guest would look like. You could write it in narrative or bullet points. Paint a picture for the rest of us. What would the environment look like, what would the guests feel, smell, hear, etc. Let’s take it from the parking lot to the time that they enter the auditorium and then again after the celebration until the guest drives off the campus. This would really help me right now as we are entering into ministry plan season. Could you tell me what that vision of perfection would look like 3 years from now and what would have to happen next year to make the 3 year picture happen?
We will do a little of this at our Coach/Team Leader meeting on Sunday at 6pm. I thought it would help to prime the pump.
I will tell you mine after you tell me yours….
“God, speak to us, show us your heart, give us Your vision of what this place could be like. May your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven…”

Team Building Ideas
Hi Coaches! Let me begin this post by wishing you a very happy spring :) I don't know about you, but our windows have been open and we have been playing outside A LOT the past few days. I hope you have all had the chance to enjoy the weather, take your dogs for walks, and thank God that your lawn would not be white forever.
As you continue reading Raving Fans, please post your comments on here. We would love to hear your thoughts and brainstorm with you on how we can take our customer service to the next level.
We also wanted this blog to be used for team building ideas, so if you have any that you would like to share, please do so. Also, if you have any questions for the other coaches, you can post them on here.
Lastly, this is the last weekend we will be collecting the Secret Shopper #1 forms, so please be sure to hand those out so we can review the results at the next coach/team leader meeting.
Thank you so much for all that you do, you are so appreciated!!!!

Raving Fans
As I read the first 22 pages of Raving Fans, I feel a tension as I think about VCC. I don’t necessarily want to be a church that does hip, cool things to wow our guests. I want it to be more intentional. The question for me becomes, “What kind of atmosphere speaks without saying anything how much God loves and cares for them?”
So my question to you wise coaches is “Describe the atmosphere you would want to create that would speak to the people that walk through our front doors how much God loves and cares for them”. Nothing is off limits…money is no obstacle…woo hoo!!
Also, in the words of Leo Varley, “What things can we afford NOT to do?”
